Threadapeutic

Our Philosophy

Every single one of our creations is a result of upcycling. We use raw, leftover materials to create thoughtful, one-of-a-kind products. From post-event banners to sackcloth bags, we pride ourselves in giving unwanted materials a new lease of life.

Nothing is mass-produced, so no two products are ever identical. We rely on sustainable methods and processes to obtain these raw materials, which are then transformed into eclectic bags, pouches, and soft home furnishings by our designers and local craftsmen.

Owning a Threadapeutic product means being part of the eco-friendly movement.

About Us

Threadapeutic was first introduced to the public when we were chosen to create souvenirs for Indonesia Fashion Week 2015. We introduced attendees to the simple art of “upcycling”, where unwanted materials are turned into thoughtful creations. We used fashion designers’ leftover materials and post-event banners, to make tote bags, laptop cases, pouches, scarves, and soft home furnishings. We would like to invite your company to consider using our products to promote your cause while reducing your carbon footprint!

Upcycling uses existing materials to improve upon old/used materials. In developing countries, where new raw materials are often expensive, upcycling is commonly practiced, largely due to impoverished conditions. The process of upcycling requires creativity, resourcefulness, and environmental consciousness. The end result is our one-of-a-kind, handmade, and sustainable products. Please find attached photographs of some of our creations or visit www.kuka.co.id/threadapeutic for more details.

With the general public becoming increasingly concerned about the environment, today’s fashion consumers want to purchase products that contribute to creating a cleaner and more sustainable planet.
